- Megan Rapinoe calls herself a “walking protest.”
- Rapinoe wants President Trump to not exclude Americans with his message.
- It is unknown if the US Women’s Soccer Team (USWNT) will receive a White House invitation.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Megan Rapinoe told CNN that she wants President Trump to do better.
It was revealed on June 25 that Rapinoe has no interest in going to the White House. This led the President to create a series of tweets that she and the team should “finish the job” before speaking.

Now that the USWNT has won the World Cup, it seems that Rapinoe still has not changed her mind.
“I would not go [to the White House] and every teammate that I’ve talked to specifically about it would not go. I don’t think anyone on the team has any interest in lending the platform that we’ve worked so hard to build and the things that we fight for and the way that we live our life. I don’t think that we want that to be co-opted or corrupted by this administration,” said Rapinoe.
But this doesn’t mean that Rapinoe is completely dismissive of the President. During her interview, she said to Trump that his message excludes people like her. She also said that Trump should make America great for everyone, not a select few people.
"You have an incredible responsibility as the chief of this country to take care of every single person, and you need to do better for everyone," said Rapinoe.
Rapinoe For President?
Interestingly enough, Rapinoe is now on Bovada’s election odds boards to become the next President. Rapinoe has +30000 odds of winning the 2020 US Presidential elections. She is above Will Smith who has +100000 odds of becoming the next President. Interestingly enough, some Democratic candidates like Marianne Williamson and Michael Bennet do not have odds for this particular prop bet.
As sitting President, Trump has the best odds of winning the election. Trump is at even odds to win the 2020 Presidential elections. Next to him, Sen. Kamala Harris has +450 odds of winning the Presidential elections. According to bookmakers, Rapinoe has her work cut out for her if she wants to become the next President.
