- President Donald Trump will announce his bid for re-election in Orlando on June 18th.
- Trump will discuss the positive changes he’s made while in office.
- It is his belief that should he not win the 2020 Presidential election, there will be the biggest market crash in the history of America.
ORLANDO, Fla – President Donald Trump is coming to Orlando. The President will begin his 2020 Presidential campaign tour in Florida, a state known for its impact on voting when it comes to elections.
During his speech, the President will highlight the continued rise of economic growth that has taken place while he’s been in office as well as the steady decline of unemployment. Both issues he promised to fix during his first Presidential campaign and the statistics show he’s been a man of his word.
Despite the improvements that have been made under President Trump, he has yet to see an approval rating beyond 46% throughout his entire time in office.
“If you go into an election with more than 50% disapproval, it’s very hard to win re-election. Not very many of them are going to vote for you,” said professor Alan Abramowitz, who develops election prediction models. “Trump is just stuck, and stuck well below 50%.”
President Trump has been plagued with bad publicity even before he was elected as President the first time around. It is this constant black cloud of accusations portrayed on the media that haven’t allowed for his ratings to rise, despite the progress he’s made as a whole for the economy. It is widely known that these continued attacks on the President have trademarked his famous phrasing “Fake News” in response to all of it. As of April 2019, the unemployment rate is down 3.8% and economic growth is up 2.9% with a 26% increase in job openings.
President Trump’s 2020 Campaign
Trump’s campaign kickoff in Orlando for the 2020 election has been dubbed “45 Fest”. Rather than use that all too familiar slogan “Make America Great Again” the slogan for his re-election is “Keep America Great.” In the 2016 election, President Trump was known as a great businessman and reality television personality. Entering this new election, he is now a true politician with roots in the United States government.
His campaign will accentuate all of the accomplishments that have happened while on his watch and his hopes to continue on the path to American greatness. The President is excited to begin his campaign for re-election, tweeting “The Fake News doesn’t report it, but Republican enthusiasm is at an all-time high. Look what is going on in Orlando, Florida, right now! People have never seen anything like it (unless you play a guitar). Going to be wild - See you later!”

The speech begins at 8:00 pm ET but crowds have been forming outside of Orlando’s Amway Center area 48 hours prior to the start. The people of Orlando are enamored by President Donald Trump. An unidentified man waiting in the crowds told CBS News, "President Trump gave up his life for us, we can give up two days for him."
The campaign will be televised tonight starting at 8:00 pm ET on the ABC network.
